My little story
Even when i got off the plane at Dublin i didn't know if i was doing the right thing, needed to get away but already missing the comforts of home. Needless to say, i pushed on ahead.
Now i know you hear of people who take a year out and travel the world and in comparison, my 2 weeks of trudging around central and Western Ireland just doesn't compare. All i will say is that it seemed a lot longer than 2 weeks and it gave me what i needed.
I think people are sometimes put off backpacking by the thought of months away in foreign speaking lands, truth is, i think you can still have an adventure if just for a couple of weeks or even days not so many thousands of miles from home.
Next time o head out, i definitely wont be as nervous about the road ahead.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. It seems there's no hard rule about how long you 'should' travel. In fact, the backpacking mindset is all about bucking trends and defying the 'norm'. I think the year thing is a byproduct of the addiction some people get to traveling. I haven't spoken to a single person yet who has traveled and NOT been bitten by the bug at least a bit. Even cruise ship goers (cruisers?) tend to want to repeat the experience from time to time.
With absolutely no sarcasm intended, I'm glad two weeks was enough time for you, I'm sure it was considerably less expensiev then it could have been.

The Europe is a beautiful and wonderful place to explore and visit. It has so many places to see and things to do for travelers all around the world. It has the most famous places of the world like Paris, Greece, Dublin, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the list goes on. All the places are so appealing and have great sort of attraction for visitors.
