i have a pair of hiking boots that i bought a few years ago. i have been wearing them off and on. i really bought them for backpacking, but i end up wearing them for other issues also, like work and every day shoes.  but after awhile, i notice they break in, then when i get a pair of shoes or sandels, i stop wearing the boots.  but i also notices that when i pick them up again to be worn, they are really stiff.

the boots i own are ems gore tex xcr boots.

just i just wanta know if anyone else has issues like mine.

Hey Mountain Dog,

Not sure on that brand/model but we used to throw our boots into the drier on low heat in the army to soften them up a little. Since yours are Gortex you might have
to spray them again after to keep them waterproof....who knows, might work.
