This seems like a good place to introduce myself!
I run a travel website for solo women backpackers at
www.women-on-the-road.com. It's been up for a couple of years, with spurts of activity but then, work and life get in the way.
In the mid-1990s I backpacked RTW for three years and kept putting off writing the book. Finally I gave up altogether and my site is the result. I was on the road just before widespread use of the Internet so I didn't blog, though I did send a monthly email to friends (does anyone remember Compuserve, when your username was a number??)
So please feel free to contribute if you wish - I have forms scattered throughout the site. Comments and constructive criticism always welcome!
And now, off to try to contribute to the forum a bit...
