Coming soon to a certain backpacking site near you......[drumroll]

So, if you've noticed some dust on the site lately (more so than usual)...I have a perfectly good explanation.

I'm sitting on a gold mine of great articles people have sent in, but hesitant to invest the time sticking them in the old site because the gnomes
are working overtime to re-launch Startbackpacking.com as......you guessed it....a Wordpress site! [cymbals crash]

So.....forums and old content are going nowhere, in fact, they are going to be greatly enhanced. These upgrades will let people find stuff a whole lot
easier rather than navigating the twisted HTML that is present now. Plus, I did the entire current site in raw HTML and CSS....so you can imagine how long it
takes me to make updates.....bleh.

I know better than to set a launch date - but for the time being, its business as usual. Hit me up with emails, Facebook, anything you got - I'm extremely
susceptible to ideas for the new site right now!
