Dawn or dusk, the best light you can have to take pictures of landscapes and general subjects.

Anna, Thats a really interesting, (and refreshing) alternative to just pointing your camera directly at a dying sun. Very nice.

gas station on ruta 3, comodoro rivadavia, argentina

i have a thing for gas station sunrises/sunsets (i guess that comes from hitchhiking)



isla de la piedra, mazatlan, mexico



my all time favourite... isla del sol, lago titikaka, bolivia. (self portrait: i'd just climbed up with a 28 kg pack and a puppy in my arms and made it just in time for sunset)
