Somehow the Startbackpacking.com forums have made a shithead-spammer list. I have been receiving upwards of 30 membership requests a day - most of which come from obviously spammy domains and emails.
I hate to do it, but in order to contribute to these forums,
you must now send an email from the same email account that you used for membership to: editor@startbackpacking.com. Please put "forums" as the subject; feel free to say hello, but no further information is necessary!
If you have a Chinese or Russian-sounding email and have already been blocked, please send me an email and I will unblock your membership.
To potential spammers and link promoters:Why bother? All links on these forums are NOFOLLOW anyway. If you are creating an account simply to promote some link in your email signature, do not bother either. If a post does not contribute to the thread at hand, it will be removed. No need to waste your time or mine.
Perhaps instead of desperately trying to make money at the expense of others, you should read a few of the dreams-come-true found here in the forums. Maybe you won't hate your life so much.
