Hello!

I am going to Argentina in March, plan on spending ~6months traveling through Argentina > Bolivia > Peru > Ecuador, and possibly further depending on how the money holds out.

I'm looking for some good, cheap travel insurance. I am really only worried about it covering medical evacuation, although stolen belongings would be nice too.

I am from the U.S., so insureandgo.com does not look like an option for me.

Any advice?

Thanks!

I got the best deal on my insurance in 2011 from InsureMyTrip.com The year prior, I went with World Nomads -- who really take care of backpackers, but their adventure sports coverage didn't fit my needs.

If you're worried about reliability or service, I would lean toward World Nomads...however, there are cheaper options.

Cheers!
