Accommodation in Croatia

Hi,

i'm travelling to Croatia this autumn and need advice about accommodation. I heard that private accommodation is very popular in Croatia and that you can find high quality, cheap apartments and rooms. Please help. I haven't defined destination yet so i will appreciate any advice

Hi,

private accommodation is the most popular sort of accommodation in Croatia. If you contact owners directly you can get great discounts and get quality rooms or apartments below cost. But you need to do that in time because accommodation is being reserved half of year or year before. There are many good sites to start search like tripadvisor.com or booking.com but i would prefer local sites especially if advertising is free.
