Hey gang!

This spring, I'll be backpacking through Denmark. It's my first time there and my first time in a Scandinavian country. I'm interested in learning about the history (I love architecture and especially castles!), trying the local cuisine and meeting locals. Where are the "must see" places that I can't miss (in your opinions) in Denmark? Outside of Copenhagen, what are the other places of interest? Can anyone recommend some good, cheap hostels? Preferably ones without an age limit (I'll be 38). How is the rail system? Should I prebook my tickets in advance? Any good tips for backpacking Denmark would be appreciated as well!
