I'm so tired of school. I'm in the last semester of my senior year of high school, and I would rather daydream about my RTW trip in class than learn one more thing about derivatives. I also work retail, which makes a lot of people get on my nerves  Tongue
Smiley Any one in a similar situation? Frustrated at school and at an aggravating job?

Hey Anna, when are you heading out for your RTW trip?  Maybe post your itinerary or ideas on the Around the World topic under destinations....I'd love to hear.

I empathize with those frustrations to the fullest. How does one continue in the daily things that need to be done while still keeping that edge that makes things worth while. Is there a way to reconcile life with the dream of travel? I dont know the answer to these questions but am searching. There must exist a balance between the freedom of traveling and the daily grind that everyone participates in. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hey everyone!

My name is Nacho. Just signed up, nice web & forum, hope it keeps growing  Smiley

I think we're all in fear of letting our time slip away without getting the most out of it. We constantly see and hear about literally thousands of amazing places in the world through the media, and yet we're still stuck in our daily routine with little more but hope for things to miraculously change in the future. That definitely won't happen, since the best time is always now, and what we make of it.

I'm in my 3rd year of a Law degree and, though I do like the subject, I feel like sitting on a desk waiting for people to come and expect me to solve the mess in their lives by conviniently manipulating the truth, is not the purpose of my life; so I'm quite lost. This summer I want to do something that really changes the state of things, and I think that a RTW journey would really do it; I've been looking for web pages for some time know, though I don't know where to go or where to get money from. Hope to get some advice here  Smiley

Whoops that was a shameless rant, and it's just my 1st post, sorry about that  Grin Hope to hear from you soon. Also sorry if there are any mistakes in my English, it's not my mother tongue  Roll Eyes

See you!

Hi Nacho!
Your English was perfect, I didn't suspect it wasn't your first language untill you mentioned it.  Smiley I completely agree with you that people surpass the 'now' in hopes to enjoy the future, and don't realize that the time to enjoy yourself is now.

Welcome Nacho,

Congrats on the realization, and I'll help any way that I can - let me know!

Cheers,
