in case you didn't see it, Tyrel shared a good story about TEFL here: http://www.startbackpacking.com/travel/teaching-english/
It is almost ridiculously easy to find work abroad as an English teacher, the REAL trick is finding a place that you like and want to commit to. Some of the schools in developing countries
can be a nightmarish test of patience.
A couple great resources are http://www.eslcafe.com
. OR...you could just do what my German
friends did in Thailand and go knock on the door of a local elementary school unannounced! (they accepted her and gave her free room/board) for only
3 hours of teaching a day!
The only website that I have received any feedback on is the one I am partnered with (OnlineTEFL.com). One my travel friends used them and they helped
her get a job in China. Here's the link: http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3358969-10358878
(they buy me a beer when you use it)
