Those are definitely classics...

Take a look at the vagabonding library I have on the site. I need to add a few new books that I've picked up lately, but there is enough in there
to keep you reading for a while.  Smiley

Just curious....have you read Rolf Pott's Vagabonding?

I know that my reply to this is about a year late, but I thought I might as well add to the discussion.
My favorite literature related to travel is the journals of Matsuo Basho. Specifically "Oku no Hosomichi". Basho was a Japanese poet from the 1600's that had a serious addiction to travel. He wrote journals of his journeys along with poetry about them. Check him out if you still need the travel inspiration!

Haven't heard of that one, but sounds intriguing....will definitely check him out, thanks!

Cheers,

Awesome! If you're interested in reading it then I recommend Dorothy Britton's translation titled "A Haiku Journey, Basho's Narrow Road to a Far Province"  She takes a few poetic liberties to make it more understandable in English.
Enjoy!

Books that I find particularly inspiring include:

1. The Razor's Edge by W. Somerset Maugham
2. The Way of the Bull by Leo Buscaglia (no longer in print, I think. Look for a used copy).
3. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
