What's up Greg

Thanx for all the advice you gave me on southeast asia, really did help! Had an absolutely insane time, done Thailand, Laos, Viet Nam & Cambodia in the end & each place was AMAZING!!! totally didn't want to come back to England  Cry see what you mean about the reverse culture shock too!  Grin

Anyway been back around 6 months now and have some seriously itchy feet, need to get out of here so i'm planning for round 2!

next trip i'm planning on doing the whole of india, then back to Thailand Cheesy(love that place), malaysia, singapore then Australia.

i think i'll be cool finding my own way everywhere else but having spoke to fellow travellers about India on my last trip may need some advice!?

i was looking at spending around 3 months in India - Do you think this will be enough time?

i haven't really worked out a route - do you think i should? or just go with the flow when i get there?

-How hard/easy is it to get around the country?

-What is the cheapest airport to fly in/out of?

-Do you know of any hidden gems/not so well known places to seen

-What would be your MUST see/do thing?

And last but not least -Budget, could you give me a rough estimate of how much i'll need for food, travel, & hostels each month??

thanx so much in advance dude  Grin

peace

Hey Terry,

Great to hear from you!  Glad you had a good time in SE Asia...I'm getting ready to head back over for work this summer.

I've never been to India!  its on my growing list of places, but I'm not the one to give advice. There should be lots of travelers around here that have been there
that can help.

There are a couple articles on the site about India, check them out if you haven't already: http://www.startbackpacking.com/travel/category/destinations/

Good luck man, ping me if you wind up back in SE Asia before Christmas.

3 months might be enough to travel and see all the places.

you should plan a route and not everyone know English so stick to cities and don't go into villages.
