Seoul and Gyeongju

I will be visiting Seoul by myself for 5 days in March 2010. I am planning to stay in Seoul for 4 days and visit Golgulsa Temple in Gyeongju for a day. My questions are:
a) Any recommendations for a safe hostel in Seoul?
b) What are the places I should visit in Seoul?
c) I understand I can take a bullet train from Seoutl to Gyeongju. How can I get to Golgulsa Temple from Gyeongju train station?
d) Any recommendations for daily tours?
